Europe in a Backpack: SUMMER Packing Guide
Traveling Europe with just a backpack is one of the most freeing ways to explore but only if you pack smart. This list is built for mobility, comfort, and style. We did it recently and it felt like a burden of has been lifted. It allows you to move a little easier. There are a lot of areas without cars allowed or cobblestone or hills. This is perfect if you planned multi stops especially transit like trains. Often at the stations, there are stairs that can be even a pain with roller bags. Plan accordingly if you go this route! There are always options for drop off laundry or like us we planned to book in an airbnb half way to allow for laundry.
PRO TIP: If you can’t carry your bag comfortably for 20 minutes, it’s too heavy.
